Why should you do a longer trip?
-
The Baja Peninsula is 1600km wide. Some spots are close to each other, while others require more time to reach. If you plan to see much and enjoy plenty, it is better to have more days for it.
-
Vanlife is not about speed or rush, but about feeling connected to where you go. More days let you rest and enjoy the places you find worthy to be there. Without sacrificing the urge to discover new ones.
-
Not everything shows up at first, and some natural gems, as fauna or flora events, need some time to happen. Even a night sky can be a whole new world, the second day at the same spot.
-
A huge aspect of vanlife is the community experience you have when you are out there with other people enjoying the same quiet and natural spots as an escape for the city rush. More days give you a better chance to connect with those who chose the same path than you but come from far away.
-
Some activities require specific weather conditions. Wind, swell, rain, and others are things that we can’t control. But more days gives us more opportunity to beat a bad condition. Here in the tropics weather can change onda day to other as season changes somewhere else.
